What do I need before starting a project?

Before starting a web project, ensure you have a strong branding foundation, including clear messaging, tone of voice, visual identity, and comprehensive brand guidelines. You'll need to commit the necessary time for collaboration throughout the project. Additionally, allocate a budget for producing photography and any other assets required for your website. This preparation will help create a cohesive and effective online presence.

How far ahead should I book?

To ensure a smooth and timely launch, we suggest booking your web project at least 6-8 months in advance. Our web design process takes about 9-10 weeks, and development can take up to 12 weeks, depending on the complexity. Plus, you'll need some extra time for a photoshoot or creating any content needed for the website. Planning ahead helps us make sure everything is perfect and ready to go on time!

Can you develop the site?

Yes, we can develop the site! We partner with Itakhi, a digital atelier dedicated to eco-friendly technology and impactful social change, to develop all of our sites. If you already have a preferred development team, we're also happy to collaborate with them to bring your vision to life.

Will my website be mobile-friendly and responsive?

Can I update and manage the content on my website myself?

Yes, you can! We design our websites using Shopify, which has a user-friendly content management system. This allows you to easily update and manage your content yourself without needing technical expertise.

Do you only work with BIPOC or queer founders?

While we prioritize creating spaces that center around women, BIPOC, and queer founders (because not enough of those spaces exist), we're passionate about working with anyone who shares our values and vision.
